About Us


We are a specialist consultancy, first established in 1987.  Over that time have built up a considerable expertise by working with, as well as for, our clients to build successful relationships that produce results. A key factor in our success is that we are able to provide a personal service through an organisation that is small enough to keep costs down, nimble enough to react swiftly to change yet produce work of a consistently high standard.

The core of our work is based on the recognition of core capability and of the differing aptitudes that each person brings to the workplace and to life in general. Recognition that everyone has their own unique capabilities and that no one can be good at everything, we believe is a key liberating factor in business relationships and enables individuals the freedom to perform to their optimum.

We work with clients companies and individuals to help them discover the key factors which, both drive and hinder their success. On the foundation of their existing systems and initiatives, we co-design a tailored development programme to achieve their goals. We identify, and capitalise on, strengths; and work towards removing the draining effects of the hurdles preventing progress.

We bring experience from the pharmaceutical industry, manufacturing, petrochemicals, retail sector, financial services, leisure services, academia, computer manufacture, and a number of related industries.

Our consultants are qualified to use a wide rage of assessment techniques from basic psychometrics to the Action Profile® System which is a movement based approach to the study of decision making processes. Our Approach

At ID we concentrate on developing those things for which people naturally show an aptitude. We take a holistic approach that and use a number of assessment techniques to uncover what it are that makes each of us unique and how we are likely to behave, react and interact in everyday life. The foundation of which is a hard measure of decision making potential each individual’s unique footprint.

The approach is simple and works for the individual, for teams and for the organisation as a whole.

It looks at:

  • Key strengths and how they can be developed and optimised

  • Decision Making patterns

  • Impact of individual style on environment and co-workers

  • Communication preferences and natural interaction styles

  • Potential blind spots and how to deal with them

It will also create awareness and acknowledgement of weak points and how to use strengths to lessen their impact
